Job Summary
Perform mammographic procedures of routine and difficult nature, including 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Schedule procedures for the Breast Imaging Center and train/evaluate other technologists in performing mammographic procedures. Participate in breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis while supporting research into artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage. Full-time, day shift (8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday).
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program
- ARRT Mammography certified with current registration
- Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians
- CPR certification required within three months of employment
- 3 to 6 months' experience performing mammography Radiology procedures
- Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
