Job Summary
Provides mammography and DEXA imaging and patient care services at defined levels, adheres to safety and quality standards, produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols, administers contrast when indicated, coordinates exam flow, maintains accurate documentation and image routing, and supports regulatory inspections and quality initiatives within Northwestern Medicine's Immediate Care Centers. Responsibilities include patient preparation and monitoring, image review and corrective action when needed, equipment operation and maintenance of imaging room readiness, communication with patients about risks and expectations, and participation in training and onboarding as needed. Expected skills include proficiency in breast imaging, bone density assessment, image quality optimization, radiation safety, and adherence to ethical and compliance requirements. Part-time role based in Winfield, IL, with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography (M)
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
