Job Summary
Perform digital and 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, wire and wire-free localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies, and DEXA imaging while ensuring adherence to radiation protection and safety standards. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation for procedures, providing excellent patient care, and performing quality assurance tests on mammography equipment. The role requires independent work under physician supervision, effective communication with patients and staff, and participation in mentoring/training of new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from a Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum one (1) year Mammography experience preferred
- ARRT(M) certified or registry eligible
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association certified required
- American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
