Job Summary
Operate radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs for breast cancer detection, position patients, adjust x-ray settings, and evaluate film quality under general supervision. Maintain quality assurance records, perform related office duties, and deliver customer service by explaining procedures to reduce patient anxiety. Requires ARRT Mammography certification, Illinois Emergency Management Agency license, and current BLS CPR certification, with one year of general radiography experience preferred. Full-time, 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with rotating weekends. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration
- Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license
- One-year experience as a general radiographer
- Current CPR certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics
- Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, rotating weekends
