Job Summary
Provide mammography services to patients per physician orders; prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment; perform high-quality imaging and develop films; ensure safety and adhere to MQSA/ACR standards; apply growth and development knowledge for age-specific patients; maintain confidentiality; educate patients on procedures; coordinate with physicians and staff; manage patient care and support throughout the radiology exam with a focus on safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma OR GED
- State of Washington certification as Mammography Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M) registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire
- State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration by date of hire or equivalent experience (two years)
