Job Summary
Perform all mammography procedures in accordance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, state regulations, and departmental policies under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director. Operate sophisticated equipment for examinations while managing QA maintenance, regulatory compliance, survey preparations, and competencies. Deliver patient care expertise appropriate for all demographics. Requires current ARRT and mammography certification, SCRQSA licensure, and CPR certification. One year of mammography experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved, accredited A.R.R.T. program
- Documented mammography training
- One year of mammography experience
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Mammography certification (ARRT-M)
- Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA
- CPR certification
- Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Certified in mammography
- Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 0-2 years of independent mammography experience
Desired Qualifications
- One year of diagnostic radiology experience
