Job Summary
Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment to perform mammography exams in an imaging office, adhering to MQSA standards and supporting radiologists in a patient-focused environment. Responsibilities include applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology, maintaining procedure protocols, ensuring the required number of mammograms and CMEs, locating and managing supplies, properly positioning patients, completing annual in-service classes, and assisting in training staff. May perform duties near specialized imaging equipment while following all department and facility safety protocols. Schedule: full-time with Monday–Friday hours and occasional Saturday/month. Education and licensure requirements include an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT(R)(M) certification, NJ state license, CPR, and 2+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensure: ARRT(R)(M) required; NJ State License and CPR Certification required
- Experience: 2+ years of current experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Technical Skills: Able to operate and maintain diagnostic equipment and adhere to safety protocols
