Job Summary
Operate X-ray equipment to perform mammography and related procedures, assess and maintain image quality, educate patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health, maintain records and equipment, and support the radiology team in a clinic environment; requires formal radiologic training and current radiology licenses/certifications, ARRT certification, and TDH mammography qualifications; duties include QA oversight, assisting other modalities when available, maintaining a sterile environment when needed, and adherence to confidentiality and customer service expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal radiologic technology training program (AMA approved)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT)
- Current Department of Health license
- TDH mammography qualifications
- CPR and AED certification
