Mammography Technologist (Full Time)

Job Summary
Perform mammography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, reviewing patient history, physician orders, and scheduling. Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation, while assisting physicians with interventional procedures such as fine needle aspiration and needle localization. Prepare equipment and supplies, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures to troubleshoot and report malfunctions. Analyze imaging results to identify quality issues, taking corrective action including re-positioning patients or repeating procedures as needed. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-R plus State Provisional Mammographer registration and ARRT-M within 12 months
