Mammography Technologist (Full Time)

Perform mammography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards, reviewing patient history and physician orders while educating patients regarding procedures and equipment. Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures to troubleshoot and report malfunctions. Analyze imaging results to identify quality issues, taking action to resolve them through re-positioning or repeating procedures as needed. Assist physicians with interventional procedures including fine needle aspiration and needle localization within the scope of practice. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This role is part-time (PRN) with no on-call rotation, located onsite at UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center in Denver, CO. Candidates must be a Radiologic Technologist graduate and hold ARRT certification with Mammography certification or provisional registration.
