Job Summary
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms following physician orders and regulatory guidelines while ensuring high-quality imaging and minimizing patient radiation exposure. Position patients correctly, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure a positive patient experience. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image archiving while monitoring and maintaining mammography equipment. Assist radiologists with special procedures such as stereotactic biopsies or breast ultrasounds when applicable. Adhere to safety protocols, HIPAA, and infection control policies. Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, state license, and ARRT certification. Full-time role with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- State of WI Radiographer License
- ARRT Certification
- Current CPR certification or obtained within the first 60 days

- One year of previous mammography experience
