Job Summary
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in a high-volume outpatient setting while creating a calm, comforting experience for every patient. Adhere strictly to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA regulations to uphold quality standards. Produce diagnostic images focused on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. At select locations, support general diagnostic exams using general radiography skills. Complete required ARRT registry and BLS certification upon hire, with a goal of obtaining National Registered Technologist - Mammography within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Full-time mammography experience
