Job Summary
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in a screening-only setting, producing diagnostic images while maintaining a calm, comforting environment for patients. Adhere to quality standards required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, and utilize general radiography skills to support diagnostic exams at select locations. Maintain Washington Radiologic Technologist and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, with a goal to achieve National Registered Technologist - Mammography status within one year. This full-time, on-site day shift role is part of Pacific Medical Centers, a private, not-for-profit network offering cutting-edge technology and board-certified providers across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience
