Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological procedures focused on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, producing high-quality mammographic images while creating a calm, comforting experience for every patient. Uphold quality standards as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. At select locations, utilize general radiography skills to support diagnostic exams. Complete a formal radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT requirements and obtain Washington Radiologic Technologist and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, followed by National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within one year. Work full-time day shifts on-site at Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience
