Job Summary
In this Mammography Imaging Technologist role, perform Mammo procedures, greet patients/visitors/staff, assist radiologists and physicians with exams, ensure quality radiographic images and adherence to safety standards. Full-time, on-site at NYP Brooklyn Methodist, Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:00pm. Must have ARRT Mammo, NY X-ray license, and ARRT certification with ongoing CE credits; High School Diploma/equivalent and accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
