Job Summary
Performs breast imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and organizational policies. Responsibilities include positioning patients, performing imaging procedures, analyzing images, and resolving quality issues. Prepares and administers contrast media, monitors patient conditions, and educates patients about procedures. Requires skills in accountability, accuracy, customer service, patient assessment, and radiation protection. Must have critical thinking skills and be able to work in stressful environments.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Program: Radiology (Required)
- ARRT_American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
- One (1) year of technologist experience in a healthcare setting
Desired Qualifications
- Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Additional certification in BLS - American Heart Association
