Job Summary
Perform mammography screening, diagnostic evaluations, and procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Assist in training students and technologists while maintaining timeliness, accuracy, and safety during duty execution. Collaborate with physicians to determine protocols, complete exams including bone density and breast ultrasound, and submit optimal images for review. Clean, maintain, and restock examination rooms; confirm patient identification and update documentation in EMR/PACS. Adhere to established safety and quality guidelines and utilize radiation reduction tools. Work Monday through Friday with a rotational weekend schedule, assuming responsibility for self-development and staying current on technology.
Required Qualifications
- Professional/Vocational/Trade Training
- 1 year Mammography
- New Graduate of Radiology/Mammography Program
- Radiology/Imaging Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- X-Ray Operators (OPCERT) - State Licensing Board
- Mammography (ARRT-M) - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 year
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
