Job Summary
In this role, you will learn, observe, and assist with mammography exams while providing high-quality images. Responsibilities also include assisting with technical and clerical functions related to mammography imaging, ensuring patient safety, managing patient priorities, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. Candidates must be currently certified as ARRT (R) or eligible to obtain this prior to the start date, commit to completing necessary courses, and be willing to pursue ARRT (M) registry following training.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT (R) certification or ability to obtain before start date
- Completion of Mammography didactic courses separately
- Willing and able to obtain ARRT (M) registry after completion of cross-training program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 12 month full-time employment commitment post cross-training
- Reliable and professional technologist
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
