Job Summary
Perform high-volume outpatient mammography procedures to diagnose and treat breast disease while producing high-quality radiographic images. Interact with all patients in a caring and comforting manner, and conduct required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams as needed depending on location. This per-diem day role is on-site at Swedish Redmond with a base pay range of $50.17 - $76.84. Candidates must hold an ARRT registry and complete BLS training upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
