Job Summary
Perform high-quality radiographic imaging for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting while providing comforting care to all patients. Execute required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams where location-dependent. Work as a Washington Radiologic Technologist with a per-diem schedule in a day shift at Swedish Redmond.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
