Job Summary
As a Mammography Technologist at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, you will assist the Radiologist in various procedures within the Mammography Unit, aiming to provide a calming experience for patients. Responsibilities include operating complex electronic equipment for mammography exams, preparing and positioning patients, maintaining equipment, documenting technical and clinical information, and ensuring sanitary conditions. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant Radiologic Technology program completion, Ohio licensure, and ARRT certification in Mammography.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology Program from an approved school
- Current licensure in the state of Ohio
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with an Advanced Certification in Mammography
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must clear a nicotine test within their 90-day new hire period
