Mammography Technologist - Breast Center

Job Summary
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms while assisting radiologists with procedures. Execute quality control testing and document abnormal follow-ups, patient letters, and pathology records in compliance with MQSA regulations. Maintain accurate paperwork and participate in yearly MQSA inspections and ACR processes as required. Work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating strong customer service and communication with patients, physicians, and the radiology team. Requires an active Ohio Radiographer license, ARRT registry in mammography, and BLS certification. Maintain fifteen mammography-specific continuing credits every two years.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain fifteen mammography specific continuing credits per every two year period as required by the MQSA
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Must possess a valid Ohio License as a Radiographer
- ARRT registry in mammography is required
- Certified in BLS
- Experience is an active Mammography department with skill taking care of various patient types
- Technologist must also have an understanding of routine QC procedures and MQSA and ACR requirements
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure
- Ability to operate new equipment and learn new procedures
- Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with physicians, patients, and coworkers
