Mammography Technologist - Breast Care Center (Part-Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Performs specialized examinations of the breast to aid in diagnosis and treatment, including diagnostic or screening mammography, and assists Radiologist in intricate exams such as breast biopsies. Produces high-quality films, prepares patients and documents appropriately, educates patients on the exam, and adheres to infection control and safety guidelines. Requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Technologist and Mammography licensure in CA, ARRT-R and ARRT-M (CA/OR preferences), BLS certification, MRT certification, and related facility licenses. Part-Time, Day Shift at Adventist Health Hanford in Kings County, with typical healthcare/posterboard responsibilities and opportunities for professional collaboration with radiology staff.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
- Experience as a Mammography Technologist: Preferred
- Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist: Required in CA
- ARRT-R: Required
- ARRT-M: Required in OR, Preferred in CA and HI
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS): Required
- Fluoroscopy license: Preferred in CA
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA
- Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT): Required
