Job Summary
Perform mammogram exams on patients while obtaining history, prior films, and supportive role information from RIS/PACS. Execute Quality Control procedures required for FDA/ACR compliance and provide imaging support to other center modalities such as x-ray and bone density. Manage mammogram letters for results and reminders. This Part Time role at Akumin's Wellington, FL facility requires an accredited Mammography program certificate, ARRT(M) or equivalent, and BLS certification. Must obtain registry within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate's Degree
- Certificate from College or Technical School Mammography Program (State approved)
- CPR certification
- As applicable, valid state driver's license
- Must have met initial requirements under MQSA standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- ARRT(M) and State License, if applicable
- Completion of an accredited Mammography program acceptable in lieu of ARRT(M)
- Must obtain certification/registry within 1 year of hire
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
