Job Summary
Perform mammography exams following department protocols, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages. Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment through infection control and sterile techniques. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns with empathy. Accurately complete documentation, coding, charging, and equipment reporting. Work four 10-hour shifts weekly from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days. Join the Imaging team at Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital to support radiologists and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Certification
- State Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
- ARRT Mammography Certification or currently enrolled in formal mammography training
- Experience in Imaging and/or Mammography
