Job Summary
Conduct breast imaging procedures including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound while following MQSA and ACR guidelines. Review patient requisitions for diagnostic consistency, educate patients before and after exams, and communicate pertinent data to the radiologist. Perform quality control checks to ensure equipment safety, manage department workflow, and schedule appointments. Organize medical supply inventory and promote breast health education. Maintain 24 CEU credits biennially and CPR certification. This PRN role at Vail Health offers a 16% differential and includes wellbeing reimbursement and 403(b) eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Mammography (M)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
