Job Summary
Perform specialized breast examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as appropriate. Maintain current ARRT Radiography and Mammography registration upon hire, along with BCLS certification. Complete one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist if available. This role is available on a PRN basis at Eastside Medical Center for candidates with an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) - ARRT Upon Hire
- (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Mammography (M) - ARRT Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
