Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships for a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. This role requires a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with current ARRT (M) certification and Basic Life Support. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, offers flexible PRN shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year preferred
- ARRT (R)
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
