Job Summary
Mammography Technologist position (PRN) to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Part of a multidisciplinary imaging team performing ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Focus on patient imaging quality, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth. Certified/licensed radiologic professional with MQSA guidelines compliance, ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) licensing within 1 year, and BLS. Location: DeSoto, TX at Methodist Charlton Medical Center; shift details include 8am-4pm or 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday; PRN availability. The organization is an acute care teaching hospital serving multiple communities with Magnet designation and multiple awards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R) certification
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year required
- ARRT(R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT(M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
