Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. This role requires an approved Radiologic Technologist Program graduate with current ARRT (M) certification, Basic Life Support, and Texas Department of State Health certification. One year of work experience is required. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 262-bed, Magnet®-designated acute care hospital serving North Texas, certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year Work Experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
