Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while always looking to improve the patient experience. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is a 46-bed acute care hospital serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County, offering emergency care, advanced surgery, and the latest digital technologies. The facility features robotic surgery capabilities, a cardiac catheterization lab, and is designated as a Level I Maternal and Neonatal Facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year preferred
- ARRT (R)
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
