Job Summary
Conduct specialized radiographic imaging procedures under general supervision to assist radiologists in diagnosing and treating medical disorders. Provide direct patient care and support complex, sensitive patient and family issues while ensuring quality and safe delivery of care. Maintain facility quality and safety initiatives and adhere to local and federal regulations. Travel to all imaging facilities regularly and without notice.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
