Mammography Tech - Part time

Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth while looking for ways to improve the patient experience. Maintain accountability for performance and ensure all work meets MQSA guidelines and ARRT certification standards. Work 24 hours at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital featuring the only adult Level I Trauma Center and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas, within its newly renovated Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year preferred
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
