Job Summary
Perform specialized mammography imaging procedures and deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives. Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. Maintain licensure, ARRT certification, and advanced mammography certification, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. This role offers a 4x10 schedule with 10-hour shifts and includes structured training and mentorship for new graduates. The team provides modality cross-training opportunities and career growth across a large health system within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
