Mammography Tech I, Part-Time, Days

Obtain optimum quality breast images for radiologist interpretation while performing screening mammograms and diagnostic breast imaging studies. Assist radiologists during stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies. Assess patients by reviewing previous studies and history to determine screening versus diagnostic needs. Provide radiation protection using proper shielding, collimation, and technical factors to minimize exposure. Stay abreast of organizational changes by checking email on each shift and attend educational seminars to learn new procedures. Perform other duties as assigned in the department.
