Job Summary
Experienced Mammography Technologist for permanent, full-time role in Belleville and Newark, NJ. Perform specialized breast examinations, operate mammography equipment, apply compression, exposure settings, and image-processing parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic mammograms. Provide patient-centered care, monitor patient well-being during exams, address questions with empathy, and respond to physician inquiries. Maintain patient privacy and adhere to policies for medications and financial information. Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and coworkers to ensure professional care, safety, and comfort, while supporting the facility’s imaging standards and quality controls.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Mammography (M) certification
- State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology for New Jersey
- BLS certification
- experience in diagnostic imaging or mammography preferred
