Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including mammography, ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Ensure MQSA compliance and maintain ARRT licensure (M) or ARRT (R); obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of orientation. Requires Basic Life Support certification and Texas Department of State Health certification. Emphasizes clear communication, relationship-building, accountability, patient experience, professional growth, and teamwork within Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’sEnvironment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current ARRT certification - ARRT (M) or ARRT (R)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year work experience preferred or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation
