Job Summary
You will perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures to aid early detection of breast abnormalities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities emphasize clear communication, accountability, continuous improvement of patient experience, and professional growth. Required credentials include a Radiologic Technologist program graduate, ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) with 1 year preferred experience, BLS, and Texas DOT certification, with potential to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation. The facility is Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a 314-bed acute care teaching hospital serving Dallas County communities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 71; certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year preferred
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
