Job Summary
Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the early detection of breast abnormalities; must meet MQSA guidelines, hold ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation, and maintain BLS and Texas Dept. of State Health certification; 1 year experience preferred. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaborative teamwork, accountability for performance, patient experience improvement, and proactive professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year preferred
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
