Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Maintain accountability for performance and adhere to MQSA guidelines, ARRT (M) certification, and Texas Department of State Health requirements. Work eight-hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a Magnet-designated Level III Trauma Center serving southwestern Dallas County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year preferred
- ARRT (R)
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
