Job Summary
Mammography Technologist position performing quality mammography procedures and assisting Radiologist in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Responsibilities include clear communication, building relationships to foster a collaborative environment, accountability for performance, supporting patient experience improvements, and pursuing professional growth. Requires graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, current BLS, ARRT certification (M) or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation, MQSA guidelines, and Texas State certification; 1 year experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year preferred
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
