Job Summary
Mammography Technologist at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center (Grand Prairie, TX) performs quality mammography procedures and assists Radiologist in special procedures to aid early detection of breast abnormalities. Role requires ARRT licensure (M or R with plan to obtain M within 1 year), MQSA guidelines, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, accountability for performance, and ongoing professional growth. The position supports imaging services across ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine in a high-quality acute-care hospital setting (40-hour full-time schedule).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification - ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year preferred
