Job Summary
Mammography Technologist - a full-time role performing quality mammography procedures and assisting Radiologist in special procedures for the early detection of breast abnormalities. Requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, MQSA guidelines, BLS, ARRT certification (M or R with plan to obtain M within 1 year), and Texas state certification. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaborative teamwork, accountability for performance, improving patient experience, and professional growth. The facility is Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a Magnet-designated, high-volume acute-care hospital with extensive imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine; location noted as NAVAL AIR STATION/JRB, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- ARD(R) certification - ARRT (M) OR ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year work experience preferred or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation
