Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote a collaborative environment, and always look for ways to improve the patient experience. Take initiative for professional growth while maintaining accountability for performance. Work Tuesday through Friday with variable hours. Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma Center serving southwestern Dallas County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year preferred
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
