Job Summary
Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures, including patient positioning, image processing, and system calibrations. Adhere to radiation safety policies and send image series to radiologists for reading per MTF protocol. Document all procedures, maintain records, and initiate repair calls for equipment malfunctions. Monitor for adverse reactions to contrast media and institute emergency resuscitation procedures as required. Requires ARRT certification, one year of radiologic technologist experience, and a JRCERT-accredited degree. Located in Fort Belvoir, VA, with a starting pay of $39.19/hr and benefits including vest vacation, sick leave, and 401(K) matching.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate
- Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the specialty identified in the TO
- One year of experience as a radiologic technologist or in the specialty area identified in the TO
