Job Summary
Mammography Technician performs specialized mammography imaging procedures, delivers compassionate patient care, and collaborates with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. Must maintain licensure/certification (state licensure/fluoroscopy permit, ARRT, advanced mammography certification, BCLS) and be able to travel to imaging facilities. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality imaging, supporting safety and regulatory initiatives, and contributing to cross-training opportunities within a large health system. Full-time, 4x10 schedule with a sign-on bonus opportunity and mentorship for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
