Job Summary
Mammography Technician actively participates in specialized radiographic imaging procedures to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment, performs mammography imaging, delivers compassionate patient care, supports quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives, and collaborates with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
