Job Summary
Mammography Technologist – Full-Time Days (4x10 Schedule) in the Chicago area. Responsibilities include performing specialized mammography imaging procedures, delivering compassionate patient care, supporting quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives, and collaborating with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. Requires licensure/fluoroscopy permit, JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT certification, advanced mammography certification, current radiology technologist experience, BCLS, and knowledge of regulatory standards. Travel to imaging facilities is required. New graduates are encouraged; 4-day work week with mentorship and cross-training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT
- Current ARRT certification
- Advanced certification in the field of Mammography
- Current experience as a radiology technologist
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards
- Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice
- Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS)
