Job Summary
Perform mammography examinations according to technical standards while utilizing instructional methods established by management. Ensure patient, visitor, and coworker safety by responding to emergency codes and life safety practices. Provide informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel in the work area. Operate departmental clerical equipment to maintain accurate, timely, and accessible office record keeping and documentation. Complete the Mammography Cross Training program for Dexa and X-Ray, followed by the ARRT Mammography boards. This full-time, 40-hour position in Toms River, Brick, and Wall includes rotating Saturdays and varying shifts from 7am to 8pm.
Required Qualifications
- completed an accredited Radiology School program
- registered by or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
- current or upcoming X-Ray Technologist license in the State of NJ
- full knowledge of all aspects of radiation protection
- willing to complete the Mammography Cross Training program
- successfully complete the ARRT Mammography boards
- full time, 40 hour per week position
- based in the AMI offices in Toms River, Brick, and Wall
- schedule includes varying shifts times Monday-Friday, including 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, and 11:30am-8pm
- schedule includes rotating Saturdays
- Schedules are subject to change based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross BLS certification
