Job Summary
Cross-train X-ray Technologists in Mammography and Dexa; perform mammography examinations to the standards of the radiology department; follow office policy to ensure safety, health, and well-being of patients and staff; respond to emergency codes and life safety practices; assist with efficient and orderly office operation; provide informal supervision and instructional guidance to non-technical staff; maintain documentation with computerized information systems; schedule shifts and support coverage; training program includes Mammography, Dexa, and X-Ray with ARRT Mammography boards preparation; eligibility includes ARRT Radiography registry or eligibility, NJ license, and BLS certification; compensation increases with experience; full-time position based in Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, and Cape May Court House with rotating eight-hour shifts Monday-Friday and some Saturdays; employer is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Radiology School program
- Registered by or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
- Current or upcoming X-Ray Technologist license in the State of NJ
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross BLS certification before start
- Willing to complete Mammography Cross Training program and ARRT Mammography boards
- Dexa training will be provided
